The Animals of Cape Hillsborough Nature Tourist Park
In Cape Hillsborough’s diverse environment, wild creatures great and small thrive. The most famous are our kangaroos and wallabies, which hop down to the beach at sunrise every morning. In the sand, you’ll find ghost crabs, sand baller crabs and sand dollars (sea urchins), while the rock pools are home to brittle stars and barnacles. And more than 150 bird species call the national park home.

We hope you enjoy meeting our incredible wildlife – and helping to keep you and them safe!
